If the destination was at the grandparents’ place, then one may remember the excitement of being woken up or being told they had finally arrived at the destination. The big smile on the faces of the grandparents must also have been very memorable, given the amount of affection that grandparents tend to have for their grandchildren, especially when they see them after a long time. One may not remember all the details of this trip, but there will certainly be many exciting moments that will continue to linger in the mind for a long time.
